Hi! My name is Sammy, and I’m a lifelong animal lover. I was raised right here in Aurora, CO, and opened The Pet Parlor in 2024 after more than a decade in the grooming industry. My approach is rooted in education and care. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from MSU Denver, along with a Veterinary Assistant Certification. This background shapes my “Humanity over Vanity” philosophy—prioritizing your pet’s physical and emotional well-being above everything else.
I specialize in fear-free grooming and low-stress handling, adapting each appointment to your pet’s specific needs so they feel safe and comfortable. I also have formal training in feline grooming, allowing me to provide a calm and informed experience for cats as well as dogs. As The Pet Parlor grows, I’m committed to building a team that shares these values and delivering consistent, compassionate care to every pet we see.

Why are your prices listed as "starting at"?
Every pet is different. Final pricing depends on coat condition, behavior, and the time needed to provide safe, comfortable care.
Do you groom cats?
Yes. We are trained in feline grooming and offer both traditional and low-stress options, including dry grooming for cats that are sensitive to water.
My pet is anxious or older. Can you accommodate them?
Absolutely. We offer special handling services with extra time and a modified approach to keep anxious or senior pets comfortable.
Do you shave double-coated dogs?
We do not recommend full shaves for double-coated breeds. Instead, we provide trimming that maintains coat health while keeping your pet comfortable.

We use high-quality, professional grooming products designed to support healthy skin and coat while remaining gentle on your pet.
